If you’ve ever walked into a new job and instantly felt the whole building shift, let me tell you — you’re not imagining it. Some of us don’t simply “start a new position.”

Some of us activate a system the moment our energy enters it.

Recently, I stepped into a hospice role that I genuinely thought would be a smooth, aligned transition. Nursing is sacred to me — caring for others has always been part of my soul blueprint. But the moment I arrived, it felt less like orientation and more like stepping straight into the Tower card of the tarot.

You know the Tower — the moment everything unstable collapses because your soul refuses to operate in a shaky structure.

Yeah.

That energy.

🧹 The Shadow of “Just an Aide”

Hospice work is beautiful, holy even.

But the culture around CNAs?

Oof.

There’s a long, unspoken history of:

being minimized being expected to figure everything out alone being dismissed being under-trained absorbing everyone else’s chaos feeling like the “bottom of the hierarchy”

Walking into this environment with the heart of a healer AND the soul of someone who refuses to shrink?

That awakened a very old shadow:

the idea that I had to accept less because the title said “aide.”

But here’s what my Higher Self whispered back:

“You are not defined by a title.

Your presence dignifies the work you do.”

That reminder changed everything.

🔥 Spirit Whispered: “You’re Not the Tower. You’re the Upgrade.”

The chaos wasn’t a sign I’d made a mistake.

It was a sign that my presence was revealing the cracks — places where communication, training, and workflow weren’t aligned.

And one thing became crystal clear:

I wasn’t the problem.

My energy was simply incompatible with dysfunction.

I didn’t walk in as the overwhelmed new person.

I walked in as a woman with a spiritual brand, a mission, a calling, and a deep understanding that energy doesn’t lie.

This transition wasn’t about learning the job.

It was about awakening the system I landed in.

⚡ The Trainer Moment: When Insecurity Meets Authenticity

We all meet this archetype at least once in our careers.

My trainer was warm enough on the surface — chatty, socially connected, fluttering around like someone who belonged everywhere. She prided herself on knowing everyone’s business, keeping up with Facebook updates, and having the inside scoop.

But when it came to actually training me?

It was more performance than guidance.

A little bit here, a little bit there — just enough to make it look like I’d been oriented, but not nearly enough to feel grounded or prepared.

And when I casually mentioned something about my spiritual business?

The energy shifted instantly.

Shut down.

Dismissal.

No acknowledgment.

Not because I’d said anything wrong —

but because my authenticity touched a part of her that felt insecure.

It wasn’t personal.

It was energetic.

⭐ Stepping Into the Star Card

The Star card comes after the Tower —

after the lightning strike, the collapse, the reveal.

The Star is:

calm healing intuitive sovereign aligned unbothered anchored in higher purpose

I realized the situation wasn’t happening to me.

It was happening for me.

The miscommunication wasn’t my fault.

The poor training wasn’t my identity.

The defensiveness around me wasn’t about me at all.

The frustration wasn’t a sign I was failing —

it was a sign I was awakening.

So I chose Star energy:

grounded aura clear boundaries calm tone Virgo-level planning Scorpio-level discernment no shrinking no absorbing anyone’s static

I stepped in with the intention:

“I don’t match chaos.

I hold the standard.”

And everything began shifting around me instead of through me.

💚 Finding My People on Purpose

Not everyone in a workplace is meant to be your ally.

But the ones who are?

They reveal themselves through energy, not words.

I learned quickly to look for the green flags:

warm eyes steady presence professionalism respect for aides genuine care for residents clear communication zero ego zero gossip calm, competent energy

Those are the souls who align with my purpose.

Those are the teammates who support healing, not drama.

You don’t need the whole building on your side.

You just need the few who recognize your spirit.

🌟 The Real Lesson of This Transition

This wasn’t just a job change.

It was a spiritual initiation.

It taught me that:

Your mission follows you everywhere.

Your healing gifts don’t turn off at work.

Your presence transforms spaces even when you’re silent.

And sometimes the Universe will place you inside a chaotic system

not to break you

but to show you exactly where your light is needed most.

This wasn’t the Tower falling apart.

This was ME stepping into the Star.

Let them talk if they want.

I’m busy transforming.

🌙 And to anyone else walking through a messy transition?

You’re not the problem.

You’re the awakening.

Keep shining.
