This past weekend, I had the honor of attending Shift NY and while the turnout may not have been what many expected, what unfolded beneath the surface was something far more meaningful than numbers could ever measure.
It was a return.
A recalibration.
A remembering.
There are moments in life where you realize you’ve stepped into a space that mirrors your becoming; and Shift NY was exactly that for me.
First and foremost, I want to express deep gratitude to the Institute for Spiritual Development. Their presence, their work, and their commitment to creating a grounded, authentic spiritual community is something truly special. In a world where spirituality can sometimes feel diluted or performative, ISD stands as a pillar of integrity, depth, and genuine connection.
To witness their work… to sit in their energy… and to be welcomed into that space was an absolute blessing.
Throughout the weekend, I had the opportunity to both give and receive in powerful ways.
I connected with fellow spirit-led practitioners—individuals who are walking their path with intention, humility, and devotion. Being surrounded by that level of authenticity was, in itself, deeply healing.
I received an Aura Report and channeled message that met me in a place I didn’t even realize I was ready to access. It spoke to the depth of the work I’ve done, the grief I’ve carried, and the release that is now asking to move through me. It wasn’t surface-level. It was real. And it stayed with me.
I also received a Reiki and cranial energy session that supported my nervous system in ways words can’t fully capture. As someone who holds space for others, it was a reminder of how important it is to allow ourselves to receive at the same level we give.
And perhaps one of the most affirming moments of the weekend—
I was honored to read for the Director of the Institute for Spiritual Development.
That moment was not lost on me.
It was a quiet, powerful confirmation that the work I do through Mainely Mystics is aligned, grounded, and resonant at a deeper level. Not just with those seeking guidance, but with those who also walk the path of service.
Even with a smaller turnout, the readings I did were meaningful, impactful, and connected. And that, to me, is what truly matters.
I stood in my value.
I honored my energy.
And I attracted those who were meant to sit across from me.
No overextending. No undercharging. No compromising.
Just alignment.
This experience reminded me that growth doesn’t always look like packed rooms and constant motion. Sometimes, growth is found in the quiet moments, the deep conversations, and the subtle confirmations that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
As I move forward, I carry this with me:
A deeper trust in my path.
A stronger connection to my voice.
And a renewed commitment to creating spaces where others can feel seen, supported, and empowered.
